Belizario "Bill" Dominguez, Jr., 83, of Hereford, Texas passed away on Tuesday, June 16, 2026, in Hereford, surrounded by his loving family.

Mass of Chrisitan Burial will be on Saturday, June 20, 2026, at 10:00 am in the St. Anthony's Catholic Church gymnasium in Hereford, with Reverend John Valdez as celebrant. Burial will follow at St. Anthony's Catholic Cemetery in Hereford under the direction and personal care of Mendez and Mullins Family Funeral Home. Visitation will be held on Friday, June 19, 2026, from 3:00 – 6:00 PM at St. Anthony's Catholic Church in the gymnasium, the rosary will begin at 6:00 PM.

Belizario was born on December 22, 1942, at Fort Bliss in El Paso, Texas, to Belizario Dominguez, Sr. and Elvira (Andrade) Dominguez. He attended and graduated from Hereford High School in 1961. Belizario proudly served in the United States Army from 1964-1967. On January 27, 1965, he married Erlinda "Linda" Dominguez in Morton, and they made Hereford their home that same year. He worked as a USDA inspector for 10 years.

A devoted member of St. Anthony's Catholic Church, Bill served as a lector and taught CCD. He enjoyed fishing, reading, watching movies, and working outdoors. Known for his sense of humor, he loved telling jokes.

Those left to cherish his memories are his wife of 61 years, Erlinda "Linda" Dominguez of Hereford; daughter Blandina Dominguez of Hereford; son Ben Dominguez and wife Linda of Amarillo; eight grandchildren, Christina Puente, Christopher Lucero and wife Sarah, Michael Lucero, Joseph Dominguez and wife Maryssa, Marisa Atkinson, Amanda Lang and husband Michael, Cassandra Hernandez and husband Nicholas, Reigna Flores and husband Xander; twenty-one great grandchildren; and his siblings, Armando Dominguez and wife Cecilia, Hilda Espinosa, and Leo Dominguez and wife Esmerelda all of Del Rio, Texas, Raul Dominguez, Christopher Dominguez, and Joe Dominguez all of Iowa City, Illinois.

Bill was preceded in death by his parents Belizario Sr. and Elvira Dominguez; brother Arturo Dominguez, and sisters Rachel Zuniga, Earcilia Dominguez, and Evangelina Muniz.
