Barbara Thomasson Fry, 91, of Hereford passed away Monday, April 15, 2019 in Hereford. Mass of Christian Burial will be Wednesday at 11:00 AM at St. Anthony's Catholic Church with Celebrant Tony Neusch officiating, burial to follow at West Park Cemetery. Arrangements have been entrusted to Mendez and Mullins Family Funeral Home of Hereford. Rosary will be Tuesday at 7:00 PM at the funeral home.

Barbara was born August 16, 1927 to Tower B. and Emma M. (Keller) Thomasson in Mounds, Illinois. Barbara married Stan Fry, Sr. in January of 1953 in Amarillo. Barbara has been a resident of Hereford since 1963, when she and her family moved to Hereford to own and operate Stan Fry Sheet Metal till 1987. Barbara was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary, VFW Auxiliary and a member of St. Anthony's Catholic Church. Barbara enjoyed cross stitching, cross word puzzles, watching the stock market and cooking for her family. Barbara's family always came first, and she was sure to instill this into her children.

Those left to cherish her memories are her son Dr. Stan Fry, Jr. and his wife Beckie and her daughter Sandy (Fry) Stretcher, all of Hereford; one daughter-in-law Maricel Lanaria Fry of Pennsylvania; five grandchildren Jennifer E. Weber, Emily M. Nielsen, Katherine D. Forquer, John S. Stretcher and L. Rebecca Sanchez and seven great grandchildren Braylon Nielsen, Sydnee Nielsen, Claire Nielsen, Blaire Forquer, Lukas Sanchez, River Sanchez and Bianca Forquer and several nieces.

Barbara is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Stan Fry, Sr., a son Edward B. Fry, a brother Edwin Thomasson and a sister Evelyn Thomasson and several nieces and nephews.
