Ashley Martinez, 34, of Dimmitt, Texas, formerly of Hereford, Texas passed away on Friday October 3, 2025. Celebration of Life Service will be held on Friday, October 10th, 2025, at Good News Church in Hereford, at 11:00AM with Pastor David Alvarado officiating. Burial to follow at St. Anthony's Cemetery in Hereford. Arrangements and services have been entrusted to Mendez and Mullins Family Funeral Home of Hereford, Texas. Family and friend visitation will be held on Thursday, October 9th, 2025, from 6:00-8:00PM at the funeral home.

Ashley was a bright, creative soul whose warmth and humor filled every room she entered. She had an artistic spirit and a kind, compassionate heart — always finding beauty in the little things and joy in making others laugh. Her charismatic nature made it easy for her to connect with anyone; she made friends everywhere she went and left an impression of light and love on all who knew her.

She cared deeply for others, especially children, animals, and the elderly, and often went out of her way to help those in need. Her laughter was contagious, her creativity inspiring, and her kindness was endless.

Those left to cherish her memories are her father, Roy Martinez of Clovis, New Mexico; her siblings, Monica Bray and her husband David of Michigan, Keith Roy Martinez of Hereford, Cassandra Hulce and her husband Brad of Weatherford, Texas, Kevin Martinez and his wife Veronica of Hereford, and Josh Martinez of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; her boyfriend Jake McCracken and several aunts, uncles and nieces and nephews.

Ashley is preceded in death by her grandparents Mr. & Mrs. Martinez and her sister, Rachel Martinez.
