Arnulfo Franco, 65, of Hereford, Texas passed away on Wednesday, April 1, 2020 in Hereford. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Tuesday, April 7, 2020 at 11:00 AM at San Jose Catholic Church with Celebrant Nestor Lara, burial will follow at West Park Cemetery. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Mendez and Mullins Family Funeral Home of Hereford, Texas. Viewing will be Monday, April 6, 2020 from 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM at the funeral home. Rosary will be Monday evening at 6:00 PM at the funeral home. Due to the mandates that have been placed on the funeral home at this time, there will only 10 people allowed in the funeral home for both viewing and for the rosary and only 10 people allowed at the funeral service and the burial.

Arnulfo was born May 21, 1954 in Helena, Texas to Enrique and Lanora (Sandoval) Franco. He married Dora Sanders in June of 1978.Arnulfo has been a resident of Hereford for 19 years. He began driving a semi-truck for Mo-Vac Service then later drove for Parkway; his last place of employment was for M&M Express owned by Emilio Romero. Arnulfo attended San Jose Catholic Church of Hereford. He enjoyed fishing, yardwork, truck driving but his greatest love was spending time with his grandchildren and his great granddaughter. Arnulfo was a true jokester.

Those left to cherish his memories are his wife Dora Franco of Hereford, one daughter Angelica Cotton and husband Isaac of Belton, Missouri; a son Arnulfo Franco, Jr. and wife Christina of Hereford; two brothers Enrique Franco and wife Lydia of Helena, Texas and Arturo Franco and wife Viola of Hobson, Texas; two sisters Christina Mireles and husband Paul of San Antonio and Ernestine "Ernie" Sanders and husband Henry of Karnes City, Texas; seven grandchildren Isaac Cotton, Jr., Aleksis Cotton, Kiara Cotton and Darius Cotton all of Belton, Missouri; Arnulfo Franco III, Cassandra Franco and Kelsey Franco all of Hereford and six great grandchildren.

Arnulfo is preceded in death by his parents.
