Anthony Robert Gonzales, passed away into the arms of Jesus on Saturday, June 27, 2026.

Anthony, the beloved infant son of Karla Nanez and Zachariah Gonzales and twin brother of Alexander Mac Gonzales, was born on Sunday, June 14, 2026, in Amarillo, Texas. Fierce, strong, sweet, and handsome, Anthony was known for his precious facial scrunches. He was deeply loved by his parents, family, and nurses.

Anthony is survived by his parents Karla Nanez and Zach Gonzales of Hereford, Texas; twin brother Alexander Mac Gonzales; paternal grandparents Bennie and Amanda Gonzales of Hereford, Texas; maternal grandparents Porfirio and Marisela Nanez of Hereford, Texas and Rita Rios of Pampa, Texas; paternal great grandparents Roberto and Albina Almazan; paternal great grandmother Amelia Gonzales; maternal great grandfather Porfirio Nanez, Sr. and maternal great grandmother Maria Perales all of Hereford, Texas; and many aunts and uncles.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather Benito Gonzales and maternal grandmother Ramona Nanez.

I dream each night I'm rocking you
in Heaven's rocking chair.

He passed away so innocent and true

So Brief was his time, we hardly knew.

A baby so sweet with a precious smile

The time we had with him was so worthwhile.

An early arrival in Heaven that day

Met by angels in all their array

A comforting thought as they welcomed him there

So much to see and so much to share.
