Andrea Escarcega, 16, of Hereford passed away, Sunday, November 26, 2017 in Hereford. Mass of Christian Burial will be Friday at 11:00 AM at La Iglesia de San Jose with Rev. Ramon Molina Mora will be officiating and burial will follow at West Park Cemetery. Arrangements are being handled by Mendez and Mullins Family Funeral Home of Hereford, Texas. Rosary will be Thursday evening at 6:00 PM at the funeral home.

Andrea was born December 24, 2000 in Dallas, Texas to Hermila (Escarcega) Fuentes. Andrea attended Hereford High School and was in the H-Cal Program (Hereford Center for Accelerated Learning) at Hereford High School. Andrea enjoyed listening to music, taking selfies on her cell phone and loved spending time with her friends.

Those left to cherish Andrea's memories are her mother, Hermilia Escarcega, a sister, Ruby Fuentes, her uncles, Heraclio, Luis Carlos, Moraima Escarcega Hernandez,  and her grandparents, Magdalena Hernandez and Luis Escarcega.

Andrea is preceded in death by one uncle, Javier Escarcega.
