Anahi Aguilar, known to her loving family as "Nana" went to be in the hands of the Lord unexpectedly, on Saturday, August 3, 2024, at the age of 15 years old. Anahi and her two sisters, Angela and Camila, are all rejoicing in the Lord's presence. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, August 7, 2024, at the San Jose Catholic Church at 10:00 A.M. with Monsignor Arturo Meza officiating with burial to follow at West Park Cemetery. A Family and Friend visitation will be held from 2:00-8:00 P.M. on Tuesday, August 6, 2024, with a Rosary recited at 7:00 P.M. at the funeral home. The Aguilar family has entrusted Funeral Services to Mendez and Mullins Family Funeral Home of Hereford.

Anahi was born on October 20, 2008, in Hereford to Martin and Irene (Casillas) Aguilar. Anahi was an upcoming Sophomore at Hereford High School. She was a member of FFA and was a part of the Front Ensemble in the Mighty Maroon Band.  Anahi enjoyed playing Call of Duty on her phone and always asked for money from her family to keep playing; she also enjoyed building Legos and would spend hours working on her masterpiece until it was finished. Anahi loved hanging out with her friend Andrea and listening to music, especially Snoop Dog and Ice Cube. She was able to see Ice Cube in concert with her mom and aunt Florencia. Anahi also had a love for boots, belt buckles, her Jordans, and the Dallas Cowboys. She adored time spent with "her babies", babysitting, and her cat Basquis.

Anahi was shy in public but was spirited at home, laughing at everything and everyone and making fun of those around her. She was daddy's girl and favored him in looks, family would tell her all she needed was a ball cap to look just like dad. Anahi along with her sisters Angela and Camila enjoyed saddling up and riding their horse Banana and they were looking forward to their family trip to Disney World in Florida this December.

Those left to cherish and carry on Anahi's memories and spirit are parents; Martin and Irene Aguilar; sister Xandra Aguilar; nephew Kadrian Grayson Martinez; paternal grandparents, Martin Aguilar Sr. and Maria Elena Aguilar; and maternal grandparents Francisco Javier Casillas and Maria Amparo Casillas all of Hereford, Texas; aunts and uncles, Adrianna and Manuel Delval of Hereford, Texas, Claudia and Iriel Sosa of Hereford, Texas, Viviana and Nova Zepeda of New Mexico, Florencia Aguilar of Hereford, Texas, Elizabeth and Freddy Flores of Canyon, Texas, and Francisco Jr. and Yvette Casillas of Amarillo, Texas; numerous loving cousins and friends, and her adored cat Basquis.

Anahi has joined her sisters Angela and Camila, uncle Jose Santos Aguilar and her dog Maui in heaven.

Anahí Aguilar, conocida por su amorosa familia como "Nana" partió a estar en las manos del Señor inesperadamente, el sábado 3 de agosto de 2024, a la edad de 15 años. Anahí y sus dos hermanas, Ángela y Camila, se regocijan en la presencia del Señor. El miércoles 7 de agosto de 2024 se llevará a cabo una Misa de Entierro Cristiano en la Iglesia Católica de San José a las 10:00 a.m. con Monseñor Arturo Meza oficiando el entierro en el Cementerio West Park. El martes 6 de agosto de 2024 se llevará a cabo un velorio de familiares y amigos de 2:00 p.m. a 8:00 p.m., con un rosario rezado a las 7:00 p.m. en la funeraria. La familia Aguilar ha confiado los servicios funerarios a la funeraria Méndez y Mullins Family de Hereford.

Anahí nació el 20 de octubre de 2008 en Hereford, hija de Martín e Irene (Casillas) Aguilar. Anahí era una estudiante de segundo año en Hereford Preparatoria. Fue miembro de la FFA y formó parte del Front Ensemble de la Mighty Maroon Band.  A Anahí le gustaba jugar Call of Duty en su teléfono y siempre pedía dinero a su familia para seguir jugando; también disfrutaba construyendo Legos y pasaba horas trabajando en su obra maestra hasta que estaba terminada. A Anahí le encantaba salir con su amiga Andrea y escuchar música, especialmente Snoop Dog y Ice Cube. Pudo ver a Ice Cube en concierto con su mamá y su tía Florencia. A Anahí también le encantaban las botas, las hebillas de los cinturones, sus Jordan y los Dallas Cowboys. Adoraba el tiempo que pasaba con "sus bebés", cuidando niños y su gato Basquis.

Anahí era tímida en público, pero era enérgica en casa, se reía de todo y de todos y se burlaba de quienes la rodeaban. Era la hija de papá y lo prefería en apariencia, la familia le decía que todo lo que necesitaba era una gorra de béisbol para parecerse a papá. Anahí, junto con sus hermanas Ángela y Camila, disfrutaron ensillando y montando su caballo Banana y esperaban con ansias su viaje familiar a Disney World en Florida este diciembre.
