Amelia P. Rodriquez, 77, passed away on May 24, 2022. She was born October 4, 1944 to Santos and Baltazar Perales in Ballinger, Texas.

Amelia was married to EP Rodriquez on September 23, 1967 in Hereford, Texas. They were married for 54 years. Amelia spent her years as a stay-at-home mother where she enjoyed raising her three boys, sewing, and cooking. Amelia was a second mother to many, always having an open door and a hot meal for whoever came by. She enjoyed watching the game show network, QVC, listening to Tejano music and her favorite, Elvis Presley.

Amelia was kind to everyone she came in contact with. She was a beautiful, selfless and God-fearing woman. Her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren were her biggest joy.

Along with her parents, Amelia was preceded in death by 11 siblings and her son, Martin Rodriquez.

Amelia was survived by her husband, EP Rodriquez of Hereford, Texas. Sons Jerry Rodriquez and his wife, Gina, of Lubbock, Texas & David Lee Rodriquez of Hereford, Texas. Grandchildren, Amber Rodriquez of Lubbock, Texas. Martin Rodriquez and his
wife, Bre, of Lubbock, Texas. David Rain Rodriquez of Sudan, Texas. Two great-granddaughters, Abigail & Alena of Lubbock,
Texas.

Visitation will be held at Mendez & Mullins Family Funeral Home on Thursday, May 26, 2022 from 4:00 pm - 8:00 pm. Rosary will be at Mendez & Mullins Family Funeral Home on Thursday, May 26, 2022 at 6:00 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be at San Jose Catholic Church on Friday, May 27, 2022.
