Alyssa Emerald Castillo, known to her loving nieces and nephews as "auntie". Unexpectedly went to her forever home on Monday, July 15, 2024, at the age of 24 years old. A Celebration of Life Funeral Service will be held on Monday, July 22, 2024, at Victory Family Worship Center with Pastor Lorenzo Martinez officiating at 2pm. A burial will follow at West Park Cemetery. Family and Friend Visitation will be held on Sunday, July 21, 2024, from 1:00 – 8:00 P.M. with a Prayer Service being held at 6pm at the funeral home. The Castillo family has entrusted Funeral Services to Mendez and Mullins Family Funeral Home of Hereford.

Alyssa was born in Amarillo, Texas to Gilbert Castillo and Michelle (Mungia) Castillo on June 19, 2000. She was raised in Hereford; she was a graduate of Hereford High Class of 2018. Alyssa understood the importance of family and she loved her family unconditionally. The Lord blessed her with a handsome little boy Ezekiel Perales, she was a loving mother, and she will always be in her son's heart for eternity.

Alyssa had a great sense of humor and loved to see other people smile. She had a contagious smile that would show her beautiful Dahlia dimples. She had a sweet spirit but was a firecracker if needed.

Alyssa was loved by so many, but her parents and family loved her tremendously and she had many lessons instilled in her by her fathers legacy; She enjoyed being family oriented and love spending time with her family either at the lake or just at home cooking out as long as family was there she was happy. She was always looking out for others and was always a shoulder to cry on if needed. She was a great friend to many and loved to spend time with her friends. Alyssa will always hold a remarkable place in all our hearts.

Those left to carry on her uplifting spirit and legacy is her son, Ezekiel Perales of Hereford, Texas; her loving mother, Michelle Castillo of Hereford, Texas; her caring siblings, Ely Castillo and his wife Ashley, Miranda Castillo all of Hereford, Texas; the father of her son, Jaden Perales of Hereford, Texas; her maternal grandparents, Robert and Noemie Mungia of Hereford, Texas; her nieces and nephews that she cherished, Sophia, Esai, Riley Zepeda, Jayden and Harleigh Castillo; Numerous aunts and uncles and many loving cousins.
