Alice San Miguel, 63, passed in Amarillo, Texas on Saturday, February 15, 2025. A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, February 22, 2025, at 2:00 P.M. at the Hereford Senior Center. Funeral Arrangements and Cremation Services have been entrusted to Mendez and Mullins Family Funeral Home of Hereford.

Alice was born to Joe David Patino and Olga Alice San Miguel and was raised by her maternal grandparents Domingo San Miguel and Lucia (Romo) San Miguel in Lockney, Texas on December 11, 1961. She was a long-time resident of Hereford, attended Hereford Schools she enjoyed playing basketball in her younger years and she was employed at Westgate Nursing Home before graduating from Clovis Community College Class of 2001. Alice moved to Amarillo and worked at a private care facility and eventually made her way back to Hereford, making it home where she raised her loving children.

Alice was FUN and she enjoyed living in the moment, always ready to spend time with her family and have some fun. She had a loving heart and was the type to take her shirt off her back and give it to you. She enjoyed reading crime books and watching, 48 hours, forensic files and she loved listening to music, she loved many genres but some of her favorites were Los Bukis and country music. Alice also enjoyed her cross-word puzzles and had a passion for baking. In Alice's spare time she loved to go thrift store shopping.

Those left to carry on her legacy are her children, Angelique Cano and her husband Estevan, Sergio McDonald all of Hereford, Texas; her grandchildren, Sebastian Corona, Eryka Corona of Hereford, Texas, Dominick Mata, Kynlee McDonald, Damien Mata all of Amarillo, Texas; her only great granddaughter, Viviana Corona; her siblings, Joe David (JD) San Miguel and his wife Esmeralda of Hereford, Texas, Ruben San Miguel and his wife Cecilia of Canyon, Texas, Frankie San Miguel and his wife Sharon of Amarillo, Texas, Gilbert Patino, Julian Patino of Plainview, Texas; her loving nephews, J. D. San Miguel and Jacob San Miguel.

Preceding her in passing is her mother, Olga Alicia San Miguel and her parents Domingo and Lucia San Miguel, her sister's, Linda Garcia and Esther Trevino, her brother Saul Patino; her great nephew, Diego San Miguel.
