Alejandro Mendez, 61, of Hereford, Texas passed away on Tuesday, December 1, 2020 in Amarillo, Texas. Cremations services have been entrusted to Mendez and Mullins Family Funeral Home.

Alejandro Mendez was born on July 12, 1959 to Oscar and Maria (Ramirez) Mendez in Roma, Texas. He married Ofelia Mendez; they shared 38 wonderful years together. Alejandro worked as a wind turbine operator and mechanic. He was an "old school" biker and took great joy in riding his Harley Davidson. He liked to work in his shop, creating knick-knacks and burning wood on a cold day. He was a Las Vegas Raiders fan. Alejandro loved spending time with his wife and family, he will be greatly missed.

Those left to cherish his memories are his wife Ofelia of Hereford, TX, son Juan Mendez and his wife Senaida of Hereford, TX, daughter Eliza Mendez of Donna, TX, brother Oscar Mendez, Jr. of OK, several grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents, son Alex Mendez, Jr. and daughter Tina Mendez.
