Adrian Blake "Bubba" Gutierrez, of Hereford, Texas, passed away on Wednesday, July 29, 2026, in Briscoe County, at the age of 21.

Adrian was born on July 2, 2005, in Hereford, Texas, to Ivan Gutierrez and Johanna Aguilera. He attended school in Hereford and graduated with honors from Hereford High School in 2023, ranking in the top 10 percent of his class with an outstanding GPA. While in school, Adrian also earned certifications in phlebotomy and as a CNA.

Adrian was excited to continue his education in August by transferring to Texas State University in San Marcos, where he was accepted into the clinical Laboratory Science Program.

Adrian worked at Walmart for the past three years. When he was not working, he enjoyed gaming on his computer with friends, listening to music, building Legos, and working out. He also found joy in hiking, taking walks, spending time in nature, and collecting crystals, while also spending time with his sisters.

Adrian will be remembered for his constant smile, sense of humor, easygoing nature, kindness, caring heart, and thoughtful, wise advice.

He will forever be cherished by his father, Ivan Gutierrez and his wife Jessica; mother Johanna Aguilera; his four sisters, Raylyn Aguilera, Meagan Gutierrez, Keira Gutierrez, Mya Gutierrez, and Lizzet Gutierrez;; grandparents Reylando and Sylvia Gutierrez, Ventura Aguilera, and Sylvia Leal all of Hereford, Texas; aunts Sasha Pesina and her husband Eddie, Delilah Delapaz and her husband Jason; uncles Edward Gutierrez and his wife Lizeth, Bentura Aguilera and Jason Aguilera; niece Dakota Galloway; nephews Elias Sanchez and Maceo Gutierrez; many loving cousins; and uncles by love, Juan Soliz and Greg Zepeda.

He is preceded in death by his great-aunt Diana Gutierrez, great grandparents Gregorio and Fransisca Guerra, and great grandfather Reymundo Leal.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Tuesday, August 4, 2026, at 2:00 PM at Victory Family Worship Center in Hereford, with Pastor Lorenzo Martinez officiating. Burial will follow at West Park Cemetery in Hereford under the direction and care of Mendez and Mullins Family Funeral Home.

Visitation will be on Monday, August 3, 2026, from 4:00 – 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
