Addie Faye "Baby" Landers, 88, of Hereford, Texas, passed away on Friday, November 8, 2024, in Ogden, Arkansas. A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Saturday, November 16, 2024, at 10:00 A.M. in the Mendez and Mullins Family Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Randy Johnson officiating. Burial will follow at West Park Cemetery in Hereford under the direction of Mendez and Mullins Family Funeral Home.

Addie Faye "Baby" was born on March 19, 1936, in Tom, Oklahoma, to Thomas and Nancy (Knight) Davis. She married the love of her life and friend Barnell "Chief" Landers on November 15, 1959, in Memphis, Texas. They shared 62 wonderful years before his passing in 2021. Addie Faye has been a resident of Hereford since the 1960s and has worked as a nanny, caretaker, and housekeeper for many families in Hereford. She was a member of Mt. Sinai Baptist Church. Baby loved taking care of Chief; they always put God first, prayed together, never went to bed mad, and loved each other dearly. She enjoyed doing hide-and-seek puzzles and loved to read her bible; she never had an unkind word to say about anyone and always saw the bright side of everyone and everything. She was full of wisdom and advice, reminding all to "give it to the Lord." She had the gift of gab and always a song to sing.

Those left to cherish her memories are special nieces and nephew; Dorothy Bailey Davis and Curtis of Idabel, Oklahoma, Irene Fields of Ogden, Arkansas, and Alice Faye Crockett of Ogden, Arkansas, and Gouvaniel Crockett of Killeen, Texas, and their families; Mary Crockett, Brenda Tate, Kay Green and James Crockett and their families; special friend Debi Stephens of Broken Bow, Oklahoma, and extended family, Matt Collier of Hereford, Texas and his children Kayla and Kellie, Robby and Amy Collier of Hereford, Texas and their daughter MaKenna, and Beth and Ray Barron of Georgetown, Texas and their family.

She is preceded in death by her parents Thomas, and Nancy Davis, grandmother Rachel Knight, husband Barnell "Chief" Landers, brothers Thomas Davis, Jr. and Charles Davis, and sister Pearly Mae Davis.
